Hi, this is Bree again with a quick trip update.
The weather warmed up again today, all of a sudden! It was great! :-)
To celebrate, we took photos in Blakeney's parents yard. (Well, Blakeney took pictures of me and Summer, really.) She's having trouble figuring out how to get them off her dad's camera, though. Once she gets a chance to ask him, we'll post them on the blog.
The best part of our photo session was when Summer tripped and did a face plant into the grass. Her face was all wet from the dew when she got up. She'll probably be mad at me for telling you this! But it was really funny.
My favourite photos were the ones where we climbed a tree. I did it first, and then we both took turns getting closeups. I don't really love being in pictures - I'm kind of shy - but being in the tree kind of made me forget to be nervous about how I'd look, so I was more relaxed. I think they'll turn out pretty well.
Tomorrow we head down to Pennsylvania for a couple of days. Hopefully the weather will hold, so we can do some kayaking and playing outside by the creek. We won't have internet there, so we'll talk to you when we get back!

ReplyDeleteWe have sure missed you guys it seems like months since we were all posting and having fun commenting. We have lots to share but are trying to catch up first.
Kaya, kewl on the pen pal, that is really fun to have someone new to get to know. I loved signing up for the penpals when they have them on the boards but they have not done that in a while and if that is where you signed up .. Darn .. I missed it. Sorry about your little sister being so far away. That has to be really hard. I personally don't know of any siblings in my family before I was adopted, but some of my sisters have real sisters out there too.
Summer, what a bummer about your information not being all that you wanted but I am glad that you are ok with waiting. I can see how it is easier to have the choice of meeting them canceled for you so you do not have to make that choice right now. Yet you got some good information to help you think more about them.
You are so lucky to have your super powers, it sounds like several of them could be really fun to have. I would not want to be a vampire, I love being out in the sunshine too much.
Sounds like Bree and Summer are having fun in the Eastern US states, hope they get to do their playing in the water.
Claire, I really enjoyed and understood your reasoning about the smart and dumb vampires, it is sure a good reasoning, and makes a lot of sense.
