What do you want to be when you "grow up"? For some of us, that's closer than others. Kirsten only has two more years before university, whereas Evelyn is only in Grade Three. All this is subject to change, but this is what we're currently thinking thinking we want to do for careers.
Kirsten: Politician, political activist, or lobbyist.
Bree: Psychologist or librarian.
Felicity: Doctor or craft store owner. Maybe I'll start as a doctor and do crafts once I retire!
Josefina: Journalist and (not or!) travel writer
Molly: Artist, of course. Probably mostly painting and sculpting.
Kaya: Teacher and Native rights advocate.
Charissa: Dog trainer, animal behaviorist, and/or vet
Fiona: (We don't know yet. We haven't gotten a chance to talk to her.)
Evelyn: Own a horse stable, own a greenhouse, or be a teacher at an elementary school. Maybe all three!

I want to be a veterinarian. My sister Elyssa wants to be a dancer and a teacher, preferably teaching dance. Eli still claims he's going to be an astronaut, but my dad seems to think he'll be an engineer because he's so good at math.

ReplyDeleteKaya has thought about teaching dance, too. (She does dance for a hobby already.) She still isn't sure if she wants to do that or teach... like... school.
She's only twelve, though, so she doesn't have to decide just yet. Either way, she enjoys helping others learn.

I don't know yet, but something to do with art. And maybe something to do with politics. Like a free-lance illustrator that does signs and pamphlets and logo design for non-profits. Or maybe an art therapist.

Sweet! Kaya LOVES that show. She and Bree were watching old X-Files DVDs earlier. Kaya never seems to get tired of them, and me and Felicity like them too.

I've been going to a professional ballet school for a few years now. I am not sure if I want to be a ballet dancer, but I love dancing and I am not ready to quit.
ReplyDeleteMy real dream is to be a park ranger. I would love to show people around National Parks. Being a park ranger at a UNESCO World Heritage Site would be the best!
